ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donald W. Kruse lives in Mt. Prospect, IL with his wife of 40 years, Marilyn, and their two dogs, Oscar and Itchy Rat. In addition to writing children's stories, Donald likes to build—anything from houses to fishing docks!.
About the Illustrator: Josie Shipman is a student attending Spooner High School in northwest Wisconsin. When she is not busy with school, Josie enjoys drawing, sculpting, acting in her local theatre, and spending time with friends and family.
